Twilight Twinkles is a nod to the Pacific NW. The roving captured my attention at the Annual Whidbey Island Spin In. The fiber is from Whidbey Island alpacas and was processed at Abundant Earth on the island. I started spinning it at a spin-in in Forks WA of Twilight the movie fame.
The yarn as shown on the right of the photo (sister yarn on the left is also listed) was a wonder to spin. It was very well carded and cleaned. I couldn't resist binding this corespun artyarn with a sequined yarn/thread.
125 yards of this thick 'n thin chenille-like artyarn will make an exquisite cowl or shawlette. Knit, weave or crochet it with its "calmer sister" or traditional yarns to create a one-of-a-kind garment.
